SUMMARY:
Repairs and maintains tractors, fabricates as required on equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receives and carries out instructions.
• Repairs and services tractors, trailers and miscellaneous equipment as required.
• Performs manual labor as required pertaining to the position.
• Possesses and demonstrates knowledge of air brake, suspension, drive train, and electrical systems.
• Utilizes vehicle computer electronic systems to determine accurate course of repair
• Performs minor or major engine and tank trailer repairs
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Receives and carries out instructions by Fleet Service Manager(s).
• Participates in on-call rotation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to read, write, talk, see and hear
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds as required.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Certification from a trade or technical college, minimum of six months experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid driver’s license, CDL a plus.
